EiP Live Online Training Details

EiP training is the legally required instruction for electrical laypersons who come into contact with electrotechnical systems in the workplace.

The online live training teaches the dangers posed by electrical voltages and currents – as well as measures that ensure a safe and smooth everyday working life. The training includes the theoretical requirements according to the current german DGUV regulations and VDE standards – as well as a practice-oriented instruction using the example of concrete tasks in daily operations.

Accidents related to electrical equipment and installations are often caused by electrotechnical laymen. Through EiP instruction, you optimize workflow and, above all, employee safety.

Information about the training

The training contents

Functions of an electrotechnically instructed person

Dangers of electric current

Electrotechnical fundamentals

Safety rules

Accident prevention regulations

Behavior in electrical installations

Written performance review

The training process

EiP training is conducted “live” online. Questions can be asked to the instructor at any time. Likewise, we address individual work areas and requirements of your industry in a practice-oriented manner.
At the end, there is a written performance review – the participants receive a certificate of participation and a personalized certificate as an electrically instructed person.

The target audience

Employees without electrical engineering training who work with electrical equipment – and/or work in the vicinity of electrical equipment.

Requirements

No knowledge is required to participate in the training. The trainings are conducted in German or English.

Training duration

Approx. 4 hours including “virtual” coffee break, written performance review (test) and feedback discussion.

The certificates

The “electrically instructed person” certificate confirms successful participation in the training. The personalized certificates are issued in digital form.

Registration and participation

We rely on the proven platform Go-To-Training. It couldn’t be easier: Participants are directed to the virtual training room via an e-mail link – and the training can begin.
Directly via the web browser – no downloads or installations required.
Alternatively, participation via Microsoft Teams, Skype or Zoom is possible.

Technical requirements

1. digital devices

Participants need a digital device with speakers (or headphones) and microphone: tablet, notebook, PC – participation is also possible via smartphone.
Of course, several participants can also take part in the training simultaneously via one terminal (e.g. large-screen monitor).

2. data connection

Ideally, there is a WLAN or LAN connection – however, the training also works via a stable mobile connection (e.g. via smartphone).

3.e-mail adress

Each participant needs an e-mail address. If requested, we will send the reminders and invitations directly to the participants. Otherwise, the links will be sent to employees by your organization. The same applies to the sending of individualized training certificates.
Of course, we act in compliance with data protection

The data of the participants will not be stored. The trainings are not recorded.

Immediately after passing the test, the certificate for the participants follows in digital form.

Motivation as a success factor

Anyone who takes responsibility for occupational safety knows that knowledge alone is not everything. Therefore, we focus on feedback and active interaction with the training participants. Our aim is to achieve the most positive possible effects on employee behavior in daily practice – and thus minimize the causes and effects of occupational accidents.

We also support you in the conception, planning and implementation of a dynamic safety culture. We are looking forward to your requirements.
